This recruitment drive will fill a total of 340 positions at BEL. These positions include positions in electronics, mechanical, computer science, and electrical engineering. All positions will be in the E-II grade. Selected candidates will be deployed to various BEL units across the country.

To apply for these positions, candidates must have a BE or B.A tech degree in the relevant branch. Candidates must have a degree from a recognized university.

Candidates will be selected for these positions based on a computer-based test (CBT) and an interview. The CBT will ask questions based on technical and general knowledge. Candidates from the General, OBC, and EWS categories must score at least 35% in both the exam and interview.

However, for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates, this minimum threshold is 30%. Final selection will be based on the average of the scores obtained in the CBT and interview, with 85% weighting given to the CBT and 15% to the interview.

The application fee for General, OBC (non-creamy layer), and EWS category candidates is ₹1180. SC, ST, PWBD, and ex-servicemen candidates are completely exempt from the application fee.
