Banks will be closed for three days between September 7th and 13th. So, let's explain the three days banks will be closed and the reasons behind them.

When will banks be open?
If you have any important banking work to attend to, it's crucial to know about bank holidays for the second week of September. Banks will be closed for three days in most parts of the country between September 7th and September 13th, 2026. According to the RBI calendar, there are no major national or regional bank holidays from September 7th to 10th, i.e., Monday through Thursday. Therefore, bank branches will remain open as usual on these days in most locations.

Banks will be closed on these three days:
September 11th, 12th, and 13th, in the second week of September. Bank branches in the Jaipur Municipal Corporation area will be closed on Friday, September 11th, due to local elections. This holiday will not apply to all cities in Rajasthan or the country. Additionally, a strike by bank unions has been announced on September 11th, which may impact some banking services.

Meanwhile, September 12th and 13th are Saturday and Sunday, so banks will be closed on both days. September 12th is the second Saturday of September, so banks will also be closed on Saturday.

These services will remain operational.
Customers should avoid visiting a bank branch during these three days if they have any ongoing work. However, digital services like UPI, net banking, mobile banking, and ATMs remain available as usual, allowing essential digital transactions.
