Bihar Assembly Elections 2025: AIMIM supremo Owaisi said that PM Modi, Nitish Kumar, and other leaders make big claims, but in reality, the poor and farmers do not get any benefit.

As the Bihar Assembly elections draw near, political parties are intensifying their campaigning. In this context, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, who arrived in Gopalganj, Bihar, said, "I have brought you an important matter. My dear friends and elders, I appeal to you that the 6th is the voting day. If you want development, please make our candidate successful this time. Remember, you have bravely voted for the Majlis candidate in the past; I am grateful for that."
Owaisi said that the youth here need jobs, irrigation for agriculture, and healthcare. Farmers are struggling with a lack of electricity and irrigation; these are the issues a true MLA will address. Our party, AIMIM, has nominated Anas Salam as your candidate, who understands these problems and is committed to solving them.
"Are the youth of our community not capable?"
Owaisi said that the minority community constitutes approximately 17 percent of the population in Bihar, but there is a clear disparity in political participation and ticket distribution. When someone is told that a group comprising only 3 percent of the population will hold a high-ranking position, we should question it. Shouldn't children from other communities have equal opportunities? Can't someone's son become Chief Minister? Don't the youth of our community, our children, also deserve that capability?
"Azam's son will also become the Chief Minister, Inshallah."
In his address, Owaisi said that he had expressed a desire to join the alliance, but no one included him. Now, we have formed our own alliance and are fighting separately. The rest is his responsibility. Referring to VIP chief Mukesh Sahni, Owaisi said, "We thank Mukesh and his community for allowing him to become Deputy Chief Minister despite his three percent population. He has sent the message that if a Mallah's son can become Deputy Chief Minister, then Azam's son will also become Chief Minister, Inshallah."
"Minority communities, especially Muslims, are victims of poverty."
He further stated that even today, in many areas, the system isn't working for those below the poverty line. Government statistics show that minority communities, especially Muslims, are victims of poverty. Therefore, your vote and political participation are crucial. On the other hand, some parties are openly discriminating. There's no transparency in ticket distribution, and there's a tendency to assign privileges. We must change these things.
AIMIM supremo Owaisi said that PM Modi, Nitish Kumar, and other leaders make tall claims, but the poor and farmers don't benefit on the ground. It's crucial that we raise our voices for our rights and elect representatives who will address our real issues. I appeal to you again and again to decide your future on the 6th by pressing the button on the Majlis-e-Kite symbol.
