Armaan Malik's real name is Sandeep, and he belongs to the Hindu religion. According to a report by Live Hindustan, the Patiala District Court has sent a notice to Armaan Malik and his two wives. Under this, the court has summoned all three on September 2.

Under the Hindu Marriage Act, any person following the Hindu religion can marry only once at a time. Whereas Armaan is living with two wives.

Armaan Malik and Payal Malik have also been accused of hurting religious sentiments. Actually, Payal had shared a video on Instagram some time ago in the avatar of Hindu goddess Kali. Now it has been said in the petition that by doing this, she has insulted religious beliefs. However, Payal has already removed that video from her Instagram. Accepting their mistake, Payal and Armaan went to Kali Mata Temple in Patiala on 22 July and apologized. Apart from this, they also atoned for their mistake by serving for seven days in Kali Temple in Mohali.
