Amit Shah on SIR: Targeting the opposition, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that there should be SIR in the entire country, and infiltrators should be selectively deleted from the voter list.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has targeted the opposition over the issue of SIR and infiltration. In Patna, the Home Minister said that infiltration doesn't occur in Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Assam because they have BJP governments, while in Bengal and Jharkhand, infiltrators are welcomed for vote bank gains.
'SIR should be there all over the country'
Home Minister Amit Shah said, "After Mamata Didi's government is removed from Bengal and the BJP government comes to power, Bengal will be free of infiltrators. Those who nurture infiltrators and create a vote bank are hurt by Special Intensive Revision (SIR). SIR should be implemented across the country, and infiltrators should be selectively deleted from the voter list."
'Rahul Gandhi forgot to say vote theft'
Targeting the opposition, the Union Home Minister said, "Rahul Gandhi has now forgotten about vote theft. The people of Bihar have made him forget. Perhaps he has been advised not to say all this now. Can an infiltrator decide the government of Bihar? The very essence of our democracy is elections, and the basic unit within elections is the voter list and the voter. How can someone who is not a citizen of the country become a voter of the country?"
Home Minister targets opposition on infiltration issue.
He said, "Will a foreign citizen decide who will be the Chief Minister and the Prime Minister in our country? If the Election Commission removes infiltrators from the voter list through SIR, then why are they feeling uneasy? They are upset because they allowed infiltration and created a vote bank on the basis of which they remained in power. We welcome the decision of the Election Commission that SIR should be implemented in the entire country."
'Infiltrators are welcomed in Bengal and Jharkhand'
The Home Minister said, "The border is not like a straight road. There are big rivers, streams, dense forests, and high mountain peaks. Fencing is not possible in such places. Even 24-hour surveillance will not be possible there. These people want to talk sitting in Lutyens Delhi, if you go to the border sometime, you will know. After entering, the intruder will first go to a village. The Patwari of that village will not know how so many people came to the village, but in Bengal and Jharkhand, these intruders are welcomed."
