Amit Shah in Gwalior: Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while praising CM Mohan Yadav, said that when a state develops with regional balance, the public and investors benefit the most from it.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, on Thursday (December 25, 2025), praised Chief Minister Mohan Yadav for the state's development. He noted that former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had worked to remove Madhya Pradesh from the sick state category. The Home Minister added that Mohan Yadav is now working to move it forward.
Amit Shah was addressing a public gathering at the inauguration of the Abhyudaya Madhya Pradesh Growth Summit, held at the Mela Grounds in Gwalior on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Prior to the rally, he also performed the groundbreaking ceremony and inauguration of industrial projects worth over two lakh crore rupees in Gwalior.
What did Shah say while attracting investors?
On this occasion, while urging investors to invest in Madhya Pradesh, Shah said, "Everywhere, crops are grown by sowing seeds, but Madhya Pradesh's geographical location is so attractive that you can earn crores of rupees by sowing seeds here. Our Madhya Pradesh's land is so fertile." He said that the Madhya Pradesh government has initiated this initiative, and he is confident that it will yield very good results.
The Home Minister praised Chief Minister Mohan Yadav for organizing regional investment conferences, saying that when a state develops with regional balance, the public and investors benefit the most. He said, "When industries with regional characteristics develop, they become sustainable and successful. May this new idea be auspicious for Madhya Pradesh. Best wishes to those who have invested."
The geographical location of MP is its biggest feature- Shah.
Referring to the "Vibrant Gujarat" investor summit held during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shah said he initiated a systematic and scientific initiative for such events in the state capital. He said, "This brought investment into the state. It was a very good initiative and was successful. But Mohan Yadav has initiated a new regional investment summit for the state's balanced development. This initiative will greatly benefit all states in the future for their balanced development."
He said, "Madhya Pradesh's greatest advantage is its geographical location, which reduces transportation costs. This can only be fully exploited if industries are established around Madhya Pradesh. To this end, a multi-modal logistics park is being built in Indore, and this is encouraging companies from across the country to establish their warehouses and hubs."
MP was a sick state during Digvijay Singh's rule: Amit Shah.
Amit Shah said, "Our party has shown Madhya Pradesh the path to development, because at one time, when the Congress government was in power under the leadership of former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh, the state was classified as a sick state. Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan worked to remove Madhya Pradesh from the sick state category."
