The effect of rising tension between India and Pakistan is now visible in the sweet shops of Jaipur. The feeling of patriotism has increased so much in the hearts of people that the names of the sweets which used to have the word 'Pak' in their names have now been changed.

'Paak' removed, 'Shri' came: Sweets got a new name-

The sweets which were earlier known as Moti Pak, Am Pak, Mysore Pak and Gond Pak have now become Moti Sri, Am Sri, Mysore Sri and Gond Sri. Similarly, the name of Swarna Bhasma Pak has been changed to Swarna Bhasma Shri. Most of the sweet sellers in Jaipur have made this change.

Effect of 'Operation Sindoor'-

Sweet sellers say that the sense of pride and respect among the countrymen has increased after the strike by India in Pakistan. Keeping this spirit in mind, these names have been changed, so that the word 'Pak' is not used in any way, which is now associated with Pakistan. This change shows how national events affect daily life and even food culture.
