Based on the information about the presence of Maoists in the south-western region of Bijapur district, the security forces started a search operation. During this operation, there was an intermittent encounter between the security forces and the Maoists in the morning. So far, during the search operation, the bodies of 02 Maoists have been recovered from the encounter site. Also, 303 rifles and other weapons, explosive materials, and items of daily use have been recovered from the spot.
