If garbage is not being collected regularly from your house in Delhi or there is dirt spread in the area, then now you can directly complain about it to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and that too in just a few minutes. For this, first of all you can download the official mobile app of MCD 'MCD 311', which is available on both Android and iOS platforms. Through this app, you can register complaints related to non-collection of garbage, dirt, cleaning of drains or condition of dustbins. The app also has the option of uploading photos so that it is easy for the corporation to understand the ground situation. Apart from this, complaints can also be registered by visiting the website of Municipal Corporation of Delhi www.mcdonline.nic.in . Apart from this, you can also get rid of the problem by calling 155305.
Complaint can also be made by tagging on social media
After filing a complaint, you get a reference number through which you can track the status of your complaint. Not only this, complaints can also be made by tagging MCD on Delhi Government's citizen service portal 'Delhi Government Citizen App' and Twitter/X. In many areas, the numbers of local ward councilors have also been made public so that people can contact them directly. MCD claims that in most cases action is taken within 24 to 48 hours of the complaint. However, in many places people have to wait even after complaining.
