WhatsApp's new update for iPhone users! Managing chats will be easier than ever.

WhatsApp Update: WhatsApp is testing a new chat list management system on iOS.

WhatsApp Update: WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature to improve the experience for its iPhone users. The update aims to keep chats organized and reduce the growing clutter in the app. The new feature will allow users to choose which filters appear above the chat tab and which ones are kept in a separate section.

Chat lists will get a new management system.

According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is testing a new chat list management system on iOS . This feature was previously spotted for some Android users, but is now being rolled out to iPhone users as well.

This new system will allow users to organize chat filters according to their preferences. This will make it easier to access important chats and reduce the clutter on the screen with unnecessary options.

You can set the filters according to your needs.

Currently, WhatsApp offers several filters, such as Favorites, Unread, Groups, and Communities. Users can also create their own custom chat lists. The problem arises when the number of filters increases, and one has to scroll through a long list to find the right option. The new update will address this issue.

Less frequently used filters will be in a separate section.

With the update, frequently used filters will now appear on the main chat screen, while less frequently used filters will be moved to a separate menu, accessible via the new Filter button. This will make the Chats tab appear cleaner and reduce the time it takes to find the conversation you need.

You can also hide default filters like Favorites.

WhatsApp is also giving users more control over default filters. For example, if someone doesn't use the Favorites filter, they can remove it from the main screen and move it to a secondary menu. This feature will allow the Chats tab to only display the options the user actually uses.

Special filters will be available for draft messages.

The new update also adds a special filter for draft messages. A draft is a message that a user types but doesn't send. WhatsApp displays such chats with a green "Draft" label. The new filter will consolidate all conversations that contain incomplete messages.

Finding incomplete conversations will be easier.

The Draft filter will allow users to quickly find chats where messages were left unfinished. This will reduce the chance of missing an important conversation and make it easier to complete unfinished messages.

When will this feature be available?

Currently, this new chat management system is being rolled out to select WhatsApp users on the App Store and TestFlight beta testers. The company hasn't yet announced a specific date for a wider rollout, but it's expected that more iPhone users will begin receiving the feature in the coming weeks. This WhatsApp update could be crucial for those who manage a large number of chats daily and want to keep their messaging experience more organized.
