Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Jersey Number: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has received his official jersey before his international cricket debut and will play wearing jersey number 3.

Which jersey number will Vaibhav Suryavanshi wear?
Vaibhav Suryavanshi may soon be seen playing his first match for Team India. The Indian team will first play a T20 series against Ireland, with two matches scheduled for June 26th and 28th. Before that, 15-year-old Vaibhav had a big reason to be happy as he has received his official Team India jersey. But more than the jersey itself, his jersey number is the talk of the town.
The BCCI shared a video clip on social media in which Raghu, a member of the Indian support staff, approaches Vaibhav Suryavanshi in his hotel room. The video revealed that Vaibhav will wear jersey number 3 in international cricket, but he has been playing for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL wearing jersey number 12. Veteran players like Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina have played for India wearing the number 3 jersey.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi's mother is the reason behind his jersey number change. Before playing in the Rising Stars Asia Cup last year, Vaibhav explained that wearing jersey number 12 was pointless, as he could simply add 1 and 2 to select number 3, so double digits were pointless.
15-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has burst onto the scene in the tri-series. He managed only 117 runs in the first four matches of the series, but when the team needed him most in the final, he made history by smashing 94 runs in 29 balls. He reached his fifty in just 11 balls, becoming the fastest half-century in List A cricket.
The first batch of the Indian team has already departed for the first T20I against Ireland on June 26. It's also worth noting that Vaibhav's parents will be accompanying him on this tour.
