The relationship between father and son

Writer, actor, director and producer Boman Irani said that for me, The Mehta Boys is an extremely personal journey. The relationship between a father and a son is one of the most complex and emotional relationships. With this film, I wanted to show how the bond between two people who care deeply for each other can be tested by time, misunderstandings and unresolved issues. This is a story that has stayed with me over the years, and I am extremely excited to share it with audiences in India and around the world on Prime Video. I am deeply grateful to the entire cast, who played their characters with such depth and reality, making this story rich in every sense.

The film will be released on this day

Avinash Tiwari, who plays Boman Irani's son Amay in the film, said that Amay's character is full of complexities, entangled between family loyalty and personal resentment. Certain circumstances lead him into a deep and transformative confrontation with his father, which changes his perspective unexpectedly. Portraying this journey was both challenging and satisfying for me. I am proud to be a part of a film that presents themes such as family bonding and reconciliation in such a lively manner. I am confident that audiences not only in India but around the world will really enjoy and connect with this beautiful story of human relationships when it premieres on Prime Video on February 7.

Shreya Chaudhary, who plays Zara ,

said that my character as Zara, Amay's girlfriend, is a strong and independent woman with a different mindset of her own. She plays a key role in encouraging Amay to face his problems with his father, rather than pretending that they do not exist. What I liked most about my character is that she is not in the shadows as someone's girlfriend, but plays a key role in shaping the story with her own strength and uniqueness, even though the story focuses on the dynamics of a father-son relationship. I am extremely proud to bring this story to life with talented actors like Boman Irani, Avinash Tiwari and Pooja Sarup. I am excited that the audience will witness the impactful story of The Mehta Boys when it premieres on Prime Video on February 7 in India and worldwide.

Pooja

Sarup, who plays Anu, said that Anu, in many ways, is the main link in the story. As a daughter and sister caught in the battle between two stubborn men, my character tries to be the voice of reason, trying to fit in her mother's shoes. Collaborating with Boman, Avinash and Shreya has been an amazing experience. We have seen how much love and appreciation The Mehta Boys has received so far, and I am extremely happy that we are taking this story to a global audience by premiering it on Prime Video in India and around the world.
