Amidst the rising excitement of this league, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the team for the T20 series between India and South Africa. The Indian women's cricket team is going to tour South Africa for a 5-match T20 series, for which Team India has been announced. In this 15-member team, 2 players have got a place for the first time, while the command of this team will be in the hands of Harmanpreet Kaur.

For the first time, two players got a place in Team India.

The Indian women's cricket team is scheduled to tour South Africa in April 2026, for which a squad has been selected. Two players have been included in India's T20 squad for the first time on this tour: Kashvi Gautam and Anushka Sharma. Apart from these two new players, the remaining T20 squad for the South Africa tour consists of existing players.

Team India's South Africa tour schedule

The Indian women's cricket team's tour of South Africa is scheduled to begin on April 17th. The tour will consist of a five-match T20I series. The first two matches will be played in Durban on April 17th and 19th. The next two matches will be played in Johannesburg on April 22nd and 25th. The final match of the series will be played in Benoni on April 27th.
