Temba Bavuma Rocked Mohammad Nabi Shocked! Umpire's decision overturned by taking DRS

The third match of ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is being played on Friday, 21 February between South Africa and Afghanistan (SA vs AFG) at the National Stadium, Karachi. In this match, Temba Bavuma played a brilliant half-century innings of 58 runs off 76 balls. Meanwhile, Bavuma took an amazing DRS, on the basis of which he proved the umpire wrong and surprised the entire Afghan team, especially Mohammad Nabi.

Actually, this whole incident happened in the 29th over of South African's innings. Here Mohammad Nabi trapped Temba Bavuma on his fourth ball, during which his ball hit the African captain's pad directly. As soon as this happened, the Afghan team, especially Mohammad Nabi, made a strong appeal, after hearing which the on-field umpire also immediately declared the batsman out.

Bavuma was not happy to see all this. He immediately expressed his disagreement and challenged the umpire's decision and signaled to take DRS. What was to happen after this, the third umpire saw the entire video of the incident in which it became clear that the ball that hit Bavuma's pad was not hitting the wicket. In this way Bavuma was saved and the entire Afghan team along with Mohammad Nabi was stunned. This is the reason why this video is going viral on social media.

However, also know that Bavuma's luck did not stay with him for long and he got caught out near the boundary while trying to hit a big shot on Nabi's next ball. But before that, he scored 58 runs in 76 balls and added 129 runs for the second wicket with Rickelton, which was very important for the team. In such a situation, he will be very happy with his innings. It is worth noting that till the time of writing the news, South Africa's team has scored 238 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 41 overs. Overall, they are moving towards a big total.
