Saif Ali Khan Attacker: Mumbai Police is investigating the attack on Saif Ali Khan. Bandra Police has recovered the clothes of accused Shahzad from Saif Ali's house, which the accused used to hide his face. According to Mumbai Police, during the scuffle between Saif Ali Khan and accused Shahzad, this cloth fell in the room of Saif's son Jahangir, which has been seized by the police. Police have sent the clothes and his hair for forensic examination. Police also recovered the earphones of the accused and the clothes worn at the time of the incident on Monday and sent them for forensic examination. 

The bathroom window was found broken

A police team took Shariful to Saif's house yesterday and recreated the scene to understand the story. Police have found that the attacker entered the actor's 12-storey building by scaling the compound wall on Wednesday night. He found that the building's security guards were sleeping. He then used the back staircase and air-conditioning duct to enter Saif's house through a bathroom window. Shariful told police that he had taken off his shoes and kept them in a bag to avoid any noise. He had also switched off his phone. After the stabbing, Saif and his house help managed to lock Shariful in a room, but he escaped through an air-conditioning duct and ran down the stairs. 

Shariful Islam is a wrestler

Every day new revelations are being made about Shahzad, the accused of attacking Saif Ali Khan. The accused Shahzad had told the police that he was a wrestler in Bangladesh and used to play in the lower weight category. The accused used to show his strength in the district level and national championships. According to the accused, he has wrestled at the district as well as national level. Being a wrestler, he was successful in attacking Saif Ali Khan. He has studied till 12th standard. 

Regarding the accused Shahzad, the Mumbai Crime Branch had also told that after the attack on Saif, he had changed his clothes 3 to 4 times. After committing the crime, the accused was constantly roaming around. He went to Bandra station, from there he went to Dadar, Worli, Andheri and then to Thane. Apart from this, it has also been revealed that he was planning to flee the country. 

Shariful wanted to flee the country

According to police sources, Shariful Islam Shahzad had first planned to go to Howrah near Kolkata and then to Bangladesh when he realised that the police were following him. He tried to arrange train tickets for Howrah but the travel agents demanded more money due to the short time. Before he could get the ticket, Shariful was arrested from Thane.
