Rajpal Yadav Case: Those who filed the case made a big offer to Rajpal, saying - give me this much money and the case will be over forever!

Rajpal Yadav Legal Trouble: Complainants Offer Settlement to End ₹9 Crore Cheque Bounce Case

Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav has received temporary relief in his ongoing legal battle after the Delhi High Court granted him interim bail in a high-value cheque bounce case. The court’s decision allows the actor to attend a family wedding, but the case remains far from over, with complainants placing a significant financial condition on bringing the matter to a permanent close.

Interim Bail Granted Until March 18

On February 16, the Delhi High Court granted interim bail to Rajpal Yadav until March 18, 2026. The relief was specifically given so the actor could attend his niece’s wedding. Yadav had earlier surrendered to authorities on February 5 and was lodged at Tihar Jail following court directions.

The case revolves around an alleged cheque bounce involving a total amount of ₹9 crore. While the bail provides short-term respite, the financial dispute remains the core issue before the court.

Complainant Reveals Settlement Offer

Speaking to the media, complainant’s counsel Advocate Avneet Singh Sikka disclosed crucial details regarding the payments already made by the actor and what remains outstanding. According to the lawyer, Rajpal Yadav has so far paid a total of ₹2.5 crore in different installments.

The breakdown includes ₹1.5 crore paid on February 16, ₹75 lakh deposited earlier, and an additional ₹25 lakh submitted directly to the High Court. Despite these payments, a substantial amount of ₹6.5 crore is still pending.

The complainant’s side has now made a clear settlement proposal: if Rajpal Yadav clears the remaining ₹6.5 crore before the next court hearing, they are willing to support the closure of the case permanently.

“Pay the Balance, Case Ends”

Advocate Sikka stated that the legal dispute could be resolved without further proceedings if the actor meets the financial condition within the stipulated timeline. The court has directed Rajpal Yadav to appear again on March 18, and the settlement window remains open until then.

“If the remaining amount is paid before the next date, we will approach the court to formally end the case,” the lawyer said, indicating a possible out-of-court resolution pending full payment.

Actor’s Emotional Surrender

Rajpal Yadav’s surrender earlier this month drew significant public attention. Before entering custody, the actor appeared visibly emotional while speaking to reporters. He admitted feeling overwhelmed and helpless, stating that he saw no immediate solution to his financial crisis.

His emotional appeal resonated across the film industry, prompting several prominent Bollywood personalities to step forward and offer support.

Industry Support Pours In

Following his arrest, actors Sonu Sood and Ajay Devgn were among those reported to have extended help to Rajpal Yadav during this difficult period. While specific details of the assistance were not publicly disclosed, the gesture highlighted the solidarity shown by members of the film fraternity.

What Lies Ahead

The future of the case now hinges on whether Rajpal Yadav can arrange the remaining ₹6.5 crore before the March 18 deadline. If he succeeds, the complainants have indicated their willingness to close the matter permanently. Failure to do so could lead to further legal complications and renewed custody.

For now, the interim bail offers the actor temporary freedom, but the financial and legal pressure remains intense. As the next hearing approaches, all eyes will be on whether a settlement can finally bring an end to one of the most talked-about legal disputes involving a Bollywood star in recent times.
