Friends, the monsoon started fast in the state, but in a few days the speed of monsoon has slowed down in the state, in the last 24 hours, most of the districts have received very little or no rain at all. But according to the Meteorological Department, a rain alert has been issued for 27 districts across the state. Despite the current sluggishness, the monsoon is expected to become active again from July 2, with heavy to very heavy rains forecast in many areas.
The speed of monsoon has slowed down in Rajasthan, resulting in less rainfall in the last few days. No significant rainfall was recorded in most districts in the last 24 hours.
Jaisalmer recorded the highest rainfall of 69 mm, followed by Neemkathana (Sikar) 25 mm, Venja (Dungarpur) 15 mm and Deeg (Bharatpur) 14 mm.
Rainfall in June so far:
From June 1 to June 28, Rajasthan has received 110.3 mm of rainfall.
This is 155% more than the average rainfall of 43.3 mm during this period.
The intensity of rains reduced towards the end of June but is expected to pick up again from July 2.
