Punjab Kings (PBKS) defeated Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 54 runs in the 29th match of IPL 2026. PBKS batsman Priyansh Arya was the star of the match, scoring 93 runs off 37 balls.

Following the Punjab Kings' victory, Priyansh Arya said he felt good about contributing with the bat after the power play. He said, "I contributed to the team's cause after the power play in this match, and that was very special for me. I don't practice hitting sixes, but I try to hit the ball at the right time. Anand Sir and Birla Sir, who are our trainers, send us a schedule, and I follow it. It helps me stay fit. I don't think too much in the middle of the field because it keeps my mind calm. I played a shot over point; it's my favorite shot."

Priyansh Arya batted brilliantly, hitting four fours and nine sixes in his 93-run innings. He and Cooper Connolly shared a formidable 182-run partnership for the second wicket in just 80 balls. Although Priyansh missed out on a century, his impressive batting helped Punjab Kings post their highest total of the season so far. The team posted 254 for seven in 20 overs.
