Pak ISI: Many Pakistani officers, including ISI's Major General Shahid Amir Officer, are in Bangladesh these days. This visit is taking place when recently a delegation of Bangladeshi military officers visited Pakistan.

India-Bagladesh-Pak: Ever since the change of power in Bangladesh, Pakistan has been jumping around a lot. Pakistan thinks that it will now incite Bangladesh against India. However, it is under a misconception. At present, the recent visit of officials of Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI to Bangladesh has definitely alerted India in terms of regional security. Amidst this development, the Indian Foreign Ministry has made it clear on Friday that India is keeping an eye on every activity happening in its neighborhood and will not hesitate to take appropriate steps if needed.

Pak officials reached Bangladesh

Actually, all this happened when many Pakistani officials including ISI's Director General of Analysis Major General Shahid Amir Afsar are in Bangladesh these days. This visit is happening when recently a delegation of Bangladeshi military officials went to Pakistan and met the chiefs of the three armies there. A lot of vigilance is being seen in India regarding these meetings.

Statement of the Ministry of External Affairs

On this issue, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that India keeps a close watch on every activity that affects national security. He said that we are committed to maintaining friendly and inclusive relations with Bangladesh. Our aim is to increase prosperity and mutual cooperation between the people of both countries.

Border dispute and security measures

India also clarified its position on Bangladesh's objections to fencing the border between the two countries. The ministry said that this step is being taken to prevent criminal activities like human and animal smuggling and it is within the ambit of existing bilateral agreements. This response of India makes it clear that it is fully alert to maintain its regional security and balance with neighboring countries.

Why is Pakistan jumping up and

down? It cannot be said how long the friendship between Pakistan and Bangladesh will last. But Pakistan seems very happy. It is like Abdullah Diwana at someone else's wedding. This is its condition when it craves for food. It was jumping up and down when Taliban came to Afghanistan. Now the same Taliban has made its life difficult. Now it has to be seen how long this friendship will last. The possibility of which does not seem to be very long.
