MS Dhoni joins CSK camp, hugs Gaikwad as soon as he sees him

Former Indian cricket team and Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni on Wednesday (February 26) joined the Chennai Super Kings camp ahead of IPL 2025. CSK has started preparing for the pre-season camp ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season. Dhoni was also seen coming out of Chennai airport and now he also met CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and hugged him as soon as he met him.

At present, a video is becoming quite viral on social media in which it can be seen that captain Ruturaj Gaikwad warmly welcomes Dhoni. Dhoni also hugs Gaikwad after shaking hands with him. Apart from Dhoni, fast bowler Gurjpanit Singh and uncapped player Andre Siddharth are among the many who reached Chennai ahead of the pre-season camp.

The fast bowling trio of Khaleel Ahmed, Anshul Kamboj and Kamlesh Nagarkoti also joined the camp on Tuesday (February 25). All eyes will be on MS Dhoni during the pre-season camp as the veteran has not played any competitive cricket since IPL 2024. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see how Dhoni performs in the upcoming IPL season.

It is worth noting that before the mega-auction in November last year, CSK retained Dhoni for Rs 4 crore. He will play as an uncapped player in the IPL 2025 season. Speaking at an event earlier this month, Dhoni said that cricket is still a part of his life and he wants to enjoy it the same way he used to in his childhood.
