LPG prices remain stable in the country today

LPG Rate Today on June 20: Today, Saturday, June 20, the price of a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder is Rs 942 in different cities of the country. Its price was increased by Rs 29 per cylinder in the month of June. Similarly, the price of 19 kg commercial cylinders used in hotels, restaurants and dhabas has also been increased this month by between Rs 42 and Rs 53.50. Earlier in May, a historic increase of Rs 993 was made in the prices. With this, its price has now reached Rs 3113.50 per cylinder in Delhi.

Meanwhile, according to an update released by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas on Thursday, approximately 14.7 million domestic LPG cylinders were delivered in the last three days, while new bookings for approximately 13.6 million cylinders were made during the same period. Despite supply chain disruptions due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, normal cooking gas supplies to households continue across the country.

People are advised not to indulge in panic buying of petrol, diesel and LPG, be cautious of rumours and rely on government sources for accurate information. LPG customers are requested to use digital booking platforms and avoid visiting distributors. A statement issued by the government said, "All refineries are operating at full capacity with ample stocks of crude oil, and adequate stocks of petrol and diesel are also being maintained. Local production of LPG has also been increased in refineries to meet domestic consumption."
