10 minutes of yoga in the morning
Morning Yoga Routine: In today's hectic lives, most people don't have time for a long morning workout. Therefore, many people start their day without any physical activity. However, fitness experts believe that devoting just 10 minutes of yoga daily can help activate the body, calm the mind, and maintain energy throughout the day. This short morning yoga routine gently awakens the body and helps reduce stiffness caused by prolonged sitting.
Just 10 minutes of yoga will be beneficial.
While 10 minutes may seem like a short time, practicing yoga poses during this time can help improve blood circulation, activate the nervous system, and relieve muscle stiffness, especially for those who spend long hours sitting in the office. This short morning yoga session can be very beneficial for them. Fitness experts also say that short workouts can help keep muscles active, increase the body's daily calorie-burning capacity, and improve insulin sensitivity. However, if one's goal is to increase muscle mass or change body composition, longer sessions and different types of training are required.
How to do this 10-minute yoga flow at home
- You can start this asana yoga routine with Downward Facing Dog. For this, move into Three-Legged Dog pose and then slowly come into Revolved Low Lunge.
- After this, do revolved lunge with push-pull towards both the legs alternately and stay for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Then do a low lunge or half split and stay in this position for 30 seconds on each side.
- Next, move into Lizard Pose and slowly move your hips left and right. Hold this pose for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Now move into Skandasana, then Twisted Wide-Legged Forward Fold. Stay in both poses for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Finally, complete this yoga flow by moving through the Wide-Legged Forward Fold, Straddle, and Fallen Triangle poses, returning to Downward Facing Dog.
- Don't rush your yoga poses. Perform each pose slowly, breathing deeply and deeply, and bend or stretch your body only as much as feels comfortable.
Doing it daily can give good results.
According to experts, the most important aspect of yoga isn't the time, but rather its regularity. Even 10 minutes of yoga practice daily is better than not exercising for long periods of time. Adopting a shorter and simpler lifestyle also makes it easier to maintain a regular routine.
