There's good news for engineering graduates looking for government jobs. Haryana Power Utilities (HPUs) has announced a recruitment notification for 284 Assistant Engineer positions. Under this recruitment drive, 211 positions are available for Assistant Engineer (Electrical Cadre), 55 for Assistant Engineer (Mechanical Cadre), and 19 for Assistant Engineer (Civil Cadre). A total of 284 positions will be filled.

Candidates must possess a BE or B.Tech degree in a relevant field. They must also have a valid GATE score from 2022 to 2025. Final-year students can also apply, but they must submit their degree certificate before the Main exam or interview. Candidates applying for this recruitment must be at least 20 years old and at most 42 years old. Age relaxation will be provided to reserved category candidates as per government regulations.

Selected candidates will receive a salary of ₹53,100 to ₹167,800 per month. This salary is a very attractive package for a government job and includes other allowances.

Candidates will be selected through shortlisting based on GATE scores, document verification, and a medical test. There will be no written exam for this recruitment.

The application fee varies according to the category of the candidate. Male candidates from General and other states will have to pay a fee of ₹590. Female candidates from Haryana and male candidates from SC/BC-A/BC-B/EWS/ESM categories will have to pay a fee of ₹148. Application is free for PwD candidates from Haryana.

Uploading your Aadhaar card or PAN card and a passport-size photo is mandatory. Then, pay the required fee and submit the form. Finally, take a printout of the application form and save it.
