Yuvraj Singh Tweet Virat Kohli: India has created history by winning the Champions Trophy title for the third time. Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Varun Chakravarthy and Mohammed Shami also made a very important contribution in making Team India the champion. Meanwhile, a social media post of former cricketer Yuvraj Singh has gone viral, in which he has given birth to a controversy by not tagging Virat Kohli.
Created controversy by not taking Virat Kohli's name
Yuvraj Singh posted a social media post on India's Champions Trophy win. In this, he tagged Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy, Axar Patel and Mohammed Shami. But Virat Kohli's name was not seen anywhere in it.
As soon as this post came out, people started asking questions to Yuvraj Singh. Someone said that this was not expected from Yuvraj Singh, while another person said that Yuvraj is jealous of Virat Kohli. Yuvraj was also reminded that there are 11 players in the team, not 10. Some people even said that Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh have started disliking each other a lot.
What Yuvraj Singh said
Yuvraj Singh wrote in his social media post, "What a great final match. The Champions Trophy has returned home. Excellent captaincy by 'Hitman' Rohit Sharma, who handled the team like a good leader throughout the tournament. When it comes to ICC tournaments, Rohit is in a different rhythm."
Yuvraj further said that Shreyas Iyer, Shubman Gill, KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya took responsibility on occasions when the team was under pressure. Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel and Varun Chakraborty played their spin magic throughout the tournament. Mohammed Shami also showed consistency, but New Zealand's luck was bad once again.
