Delhi CM Announcement: After achieving a spectacular victory in the Delhi Assembly elections, an important meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs is going to be held today. This meeting, called by the state president of the party, will be held at 11 am. In which the state president, Delhi election in-charge and co-in-charge of all committees Alka Gurjar, some newly elected MLAs and all the officials of Delhi state will be present. This meeting is being considered very important before the announcement of the face for the post of Chief Minister. 

 

Is the name of Delhi CM finalized?

It is being said that this round of meetings is being held to build consensus among the MLAs. Sources are also saying that the party has almost finalised the face for the CM post and through meetings, efforts are being made to know the opinion of the MLAs as well as maintain unity. Because before this, on Tuesday, BJP's national president JP Nadda also met with 20 MLAs. All these MLAs were given 10-10 minutes of time. 

 

 

10 MLAs met Nadda

After the party's victory in the Delhi elections, the BJP has started the process of forming the government. In such a situation, the meeting of BJP MLAs with JP Nadda is being considered very important. The MLAs who met Nadda included Vijendra Gupta, Rekha Gupta, Arvinder Singh Lovely, Ajay Mahawar, Satish Upadhyay, Shikha Rai, Anil Sharma and Dr. Anil Goyal, Kapil Mishra and Kulwant Rana. Among these MLAs, 3 to 4 faces are being said to be contenders for the post of Chief Minister.

 

MLAs also met the Lieutenant Governor

Even before Nadda, some newly elected MLAs had met Delhi's Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. All the winning MLAs, including New Delhi MLA Pravesh Verma, Kailash Gehlot and Arvinder Singh Lovely, who defeated Arvind Kejriwal, had met LG VK Saxena. On Monday evening, BJP's National President JP Nadda met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in Delhi. According to sources, in this meeting of the two leaders, there was a discussion about the next CM of Delhi.

When will the swearing-in ceremony of Delhi CM take place?

According to BJP leaders, the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Chief Minister of Delhi will be held after Prime Minister Narendra Modi returns from his foreign tour. Prime Minister Modi is currently on a tour of France and America. In the 70-member Delhi Assembly elections, BJP has won 48 seats, while AAP has won 22 seats. Congress has not opened its account.
