If you want to stop using Instagram and permanently delete your account, you can do so in a few simple steps. Keep in mind that by permanently deleting, your profile, photos, videos, comments, and followers will be permanently removed. Therefore, be sure to download a backup of your important information before deleting your account.

How to Permanently Delete Instagram Account

First, log in to your account on the Instagram app or website.
Go to Settings and open Accounts Center.
Tap on Personal Details.
Then select the Account Ownership and Control option.
Click on Deactivation or Deletion.
Select the account you want to delete.
Select the Delete Account option and tap on Continue.
Enter your password and follow the instructions to complete the process.
Before deleting your account, keep in mind that
your profile and data cannot be recovered once the account is deleted.
If you just want to take a break from Instagram for some time, it would be better to choose the Deactivate Account option.
