IED blast near LoC in Akhnoor sector in Jammu and Kashmir, two soldiers martyred

An IED blast has taken place near the Line of Control in Akhnoor sector in Jammu and Kashmir. Two soldiers were martyred in this blast. Another soldier was also injured. Initial investigation has revealed that this blast is a conspiracy of terrorists. At present, the soldiers have cordoned off the entire area and started a search operation to find the terrorists.

ANI, Srinagar. There is news of an explosion near the Line of Control in Akhnoor sector of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the information received, a massive explosion took place near the Line of Control (LoC). Two army personnel including a captain were martyred in this blast and another soldier was injured.
Officials said that on Tuesday, soldiers were patrolling near the Line of Control in Akhnoor sector. Then at around 3:50 pm, a loud explosion took place near a post in Bhattal area. Three soldiers were badly injured in this accident, out of which two soldiers died. However, the injured soldier is now out of danger.
White Knight Corps provided information on X
The Army's White Knight Corps has paid tribute to the martyred soldiers by posting on X. The Corps wrote, "During patrolling near the fence in Laleli of Akhnoor sector, there has been a report of a suspected improvised explosive device explosion, in which two people have died. Our soldiers are maintaining control over the area and the search operation is going on. The White Knight Corps salutes and pays tribute to the supreme sacrifice of the two brave soldiers.
Initial information revealed that the explosion was caused by the detonation of an improvised explosive device (IED). This IED was planted by terrorists. Officials said that the entire area was cordoned off immediately after the explosion.
The soldier shot himself
On the other hand, in Srinagar, a soldier of 20 National Rifles E-Company committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle due to unknown reasons. He has been identified as Satyajit Kandhol son of Sajjah Hins resident of Panipat, Pariyana.
According to the information, the incident took place on Tuesday morning in Badamibagh army camp in Srinagar. According to the information, the said soldier, who was posted in the same army camp, fired on himself with his service rifle, as a result of which he was seriously injured.
His colleagues immediately rushed him to the military hospital located inside the army cantonment where doctors declared him brought dead. The cause of his death is not yet known. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
