Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has launched a new premium LPG service for its Bharatgas customers, called Bharatgas Lite ZIP. This service will provide customers with lightweight composite gas cylinders, faster new gas connection, and express delivery.
The company has stated that this service has been designed keeping in mind today's fast-paced lifestyle. Currently, this service has been launched in Mumbai. According to BPCL, the plan is to expand this service to more than 100 cities across 24 states by August 15, 2026. Therefore, millions of customers could benefit from this facility within the next few weeks.
Bharatgas Lite composite cylinders are essential for this service. Because they are lighter than steel cylinders, they can be easily lifted by anyone in the home. Furthermore, they are rust-resistant, ensuring long-term use. The cylinder's precise design allows customers to easily see the remaining gas. Furthermore, their high security features make them more secure.
Additionally, competition has increased among state-owned oil companies in the LPG sector to provide better customer service. Previously, Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL) also introduced lightweight composite cylinders and faster delivery. This has now created more modern and convenient options for customers.
