Many AI features can be found in Android 17

At the Android Show held a few days ago, the company teased several new features related to Android 17. Now, it is expected that these will be presented in detail at Google I/O. As part of the new update, premium Android smartphones, especially Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel devices, may see a new on-device AI system called Gemini Intelligence. This system will help users with multi-step app automation, creating AI widgets, and handling tasks smartly.

Additionally, the Material 3 design could also receive a refresh. The company is also focusing on text prediction, smart autofill, and making the form-filling process easier and more accurate than before.

New AI tool to understand Hinglish

Google also teased a unique multilingual dictation tool called Rambler. This feature will be able to correct language errors when converting voice to text. Notably, it will also be able to better understand Hinglish, a mixture of Hindi and English.

The Quick Share feature is also being upgraded. Supported Android devices are now expected to offer file-sharing capabilities similar to AirDrop.

Most eyes will be on the new model of Gemini.

The biggest highlight of the event could be the next-generation Gemini AI model. Reports suggest the company may introduce a new version of the Gemini 3 or an even more advanced model.

New AI technologies could include deep reasoning, the ability to understand text, audio, and video simultaneously, and a larger context window. Simply put, AI could become smarter and more human-like.

There could be big announcements on Veo, Lyria, and Beam as well.

Google is also preparing to take its AI creative services to the next level. The company may add new features to its Veo AI video generator and Lyria music tool. Additionally, a unique video conferencing technology called Beam is also in the news. This system can create a real-time 3D model of the user using special cameras, making video calls more realistic than ever.

AR and XR technology will also be a major focus for the company this time around. Google has been showcasing prototypes of its smart glasses for a long time, but it's believed that this time the company may introduce a nearly finished product.
