The CJP has threatened to launch another protest if the cases filed against the protesters are not withdrawn. CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka categorically stated that if a written agreement is not reached by Tuesday (July 28), they will be forced to resume their protests. Following this, a police officer stated that strict security measures will be in place to maintain law and order in the New Delhi and Central Delhi districts.

CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka said in a post on X, "We are witnessing a complete violation of the agreement regarding no police action against protesters. Hundreds of students have been arrested in Bihar and Bengal, and hundreds of students in Delhi and other states are being monitored or harassed. There are also numerous reports of the detention of volunteers who were providing logistical support to the protesters in Delhi."
'Withdraw the case immediately and release the students'
He said, "We demand that all FIRs filed against the protesters be immediately withdrawn, the students be released, and (as per our agreement) no future FIRs be filed by the Delhi Police, central investigating agencies, or the police of BJP-ruled states. If this does not happen, we will be forced to protest again."
Security tightened around sensitive places in Delhi
Responding to this, a senior police officer said that there will be adequate deployment of Delhi Police personnel and paramilitary forces around Jantar Mantar and other sensitive locations in New Delhi and Central Delhi to maintain law and order. "Police forces will be deployed to monitor the prevailing situation and maintain law and order in and around the Jantar Mantar area. However, Jantar Mantar is a designated protest site and security is always tight there," the officer said.

The official also said that the police are closely monitoring the situation and security has been strengthened as a precaution to prevent any untoward incidents. Ranka said, "If a written agreement is not received by Tuesday and the protesters and organizers arrested in connection with the movement are not released, the CJP will be forced to protest again."
