IND W vs ENG W Test Toss: The historic Test match between the Indian and English women's teams has begun at Lord's, London, known as the Mecca of cricket. This is the first Test match in cricket history to be played at Lord's. Host England won the toss and elected to bowl. Team India was invited to bat first. 21-year-old spinner Shri Charani made her debut for Team India.

This is the only Test match between the two teams. Prior to this, the Indian and England women's teams played a three-match T20 series. India lost the T20 series 1-2. Now, India and England face off in the Test series, for which both have selected interesting playing elevens.

England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt said, "We will bowl first. I think as bowlers we can make the most of this pitch this morning. Obviously, the wicket will have to last for four days. It will be sunny throughout, so I am really looking forward to taking the field as a team."

After the toss, Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur said, "This is a good opportunity for us to put a big total on the board. It is a big achievement for us that we are playing our first Test at Lord's. We are very excited about it. We had a great time in the nets and tried to do everything we could before this Test."
