Speaking at the post-match press conference, Iyer said that both Shami and Rohit are fine. He clearly stated that there is no concern about injury for Team India. Iyer said, 'According to what I have seen, Shami and Rohit are fine. As per my knowledge, I don't think there is any injury concern in the team.'
Shami had a bad start
Shami had a very bad start in the match against Pakistan and he bowled five wide balls in his first over. Due to this, he had to bowl 11 balls to complete the over. After bowling three overs, Shami left the field and in such a situation Rohit had to bring Hardik Pandya on the bowling attack. Shami was also seen bandaging his right leg. Shami returned to the field to bowl in the 12th over and looked in much better rhythm.
