In a shocking incident, a woman helped her husband rape an 11-year-old girl and also threatened her to keep quiet. The incident took place in a village in the Nazirabad police station area of ​​Bhopal district.

Police said that an FIR has been registered and the accused husband and his wife have been arrested. They are being further questioned in this regard. The victim and the accused's family make a living by doing small jobs and know each other.

Though not related, the victim and her brother called the accused woman their sister and visited her house frequently. Nazirabad police station TI Krishna Thakur said that the accused Vinay Singh Ahirwar reached the victim's house on Monday. Vinay took the victim to his house saying that his wife was not well.

It is alleged that Vinay took the victim inside the room and raped her while his wife Poona Bai locked the door from outside. TI said that after this both of them threatened the victim to keep quiet or face the consequences.

The victim's family came to know about the incident when she reached home on Tuesday, following which they approached the police. The accused Vinay Singh and his wife are 20 years old and are childless.

Police officials said Vinay's wife was being questioned to find out why she helped her husband rape the minor. All angles, including revenge, sexual perversion or witchcraft, were being investigated, officials said.
