Ashwin is in the headlines not for his performance but for his YouTube channel. He has been embroiled in controversies because of his channel. Now he has taken a big decision. 

Let us tell you that from now on there will be no talk about IPL 2025 on Ashwin's YouTube channel. Also, there will be no discussion about Chennai Super Kings on Ashwin's channel. Ashwin used to do match previews and analytical videos of his team earlier.

The channel's admin issued a statement 

Amidst the uproar on social media, Ashwin's YouTube channel issued an official statement. The statement said, "After the discussion on this channel last week, we have decided that we will no longer do previews, reviews and other coverage of Chennai Super Kings matches. Whatever guests express their opinion on our channel is not Ashwin's personal opinion. We are committed to maintaining the credibility and purpose of this platform." 

Know why the controversy heated up?

The controversy over Ashwin's channel happened after the match between Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings. In the review show of this match, the guest on the channel had said that Noor Ahmed does not deserve a place in Chennai's playing eleven. There are already two senior spinners in the team. An additional batsman should be added in place of Noor. Then what, Chennai fans and some cricket fans did not like this. Fans started trolling Ashwin's channel and him. Let us tell you that Noor Ahmed is the highest wicket-taker in IPL 2025 so far. He is the only one who has the Purple Cap right now.
