Manvi Mittal alias Lipsy, wife of businessman Anokh Mittal on Dehlon Road in Ludhiana, was murdered by none other than her own husband. Anokh Mittal had illicit relations with a girl working at his shop, which Lipsy had come to know about. To get rid of Lipsy, who was a hindrance in their relationship, Anokh made a complete plan and got his wife killed by paying a contract of Rs. 2.5 lakhs.

He had an affair with a woman working in his shop.

Anokh Mittal owns a battery business and Pratiksha had come to work for him around two years back. They developed a relationship while working at the shop. Anokh's wife Lipsy came to know about this and they would quarrel often. Troubled by the daily quarrels, Anokh made a plan to eliminate Lipsy. He also told Pratiksha about this entire plan. A plan was made with Gopi to execute the crime and a deal was finalised with Gopi for Rs. 2.5 lakhs. Rs. 50,000 was to be given in advance while the remaining Rs. 2 lakhs was to be given after Lipsy's murder.

As per the plan, he had taken them to eat and

the accused searched for a place where there was less traffic so that they could commit the crime and leave. As per the plan, Anokh and Lipsey were to go to eat and while returning, they were to stop them on the way and commit the crime.

Anokh had left the car saying that he was going to the bathroom.

According to the police, the accused Anokh stopped the car on the road going from Dehlon to Rudka Chowk and got out after asking Lipsy to go to the bathroom. Anokh called the accused and after some time the accused came. The accused first attacked Anokh intentionally so that Lipsy could come out. As soon as Lipsy came out of the car, the accused started attacking her continuously and after committing the crime, the accused fled. After this, Anokh made noise as per the plan and informed the police and reached the hospital. The accused attacked Lipsy so much that she could not survive even after reaching the hospital. The accused kept doing drama so that the police would not suspect him.

The accused confessed the entire conspiracy during investigation.

The accused carried out the crime in such a way that it appeared to be a robbery. During investigation, the accused Anokh confessed everything. The police have arrested Lipsy's husband Anokh Mittal, his girlfriend Pratiksha, Amritpal Singh alias Balli, Gurdeep Singh alias Maan, Sonu Singh alias Sonu, Sagardeep Singh alias Teji, while the mastermind of this entire planning, Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi, is still absconding.
