This year's release, 'Sky Force' (Rs 135.51 crore), was based on a true incident, while 'Housefull 5' (Rs 183.38 crore) was a full Akshay Kumar-style film, showcasing his comic style.

Then in 'Kesari Chapter 2' (Rs 92.73 crore), Akshay Kumar was seen in a wonderful film based on the historical issue of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and now in 'Jolly LLB 3', along with a stalwart like Arshad Warsi, Akshay has given another amazing content based film as the year ends.

Earning ₹74 crore (740 million rupees) in the first week and ₹29 crore (290 million rupees) in the second, the film earned ₹103 crore (103 million rupees) in just two weeks. Subsequently, by the 18th day, the film had earned ₹108.65 crore (108.65 million rupees).

On its 19th day in cinemas, the film has earned ₹3.6 million, taking its total gross to ₹109.01 crore, according to SaccNilk, as of 5:40 PM. With this, Akshay Kumar has broken the records of 10 other major stars.
