Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar became a fan of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, announced to give prize money

Rajasthan Royals' Vaibhav Suryavanshi shook the record book by scoring a century against Gujarat Titans. The 14-year-old batsman has also made Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar his fan. Pleased with Vaibhav's performance, Nitish Kumar has announced to give him prize money. Vaibhav is a resident of Samastipur, Bihar.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced a prize money of Rs 10 lakh to 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Vaibhav created history by scoring a century in just 35 balls against Gujarat Titans on Monday.

The left-handed batsman made the Sawai Mansingh Stadium memorable for himself and scored 101 runs with the help of 7 fours and 11 sixes during the innings. Vaibhav Suryavanshi became the Indian batsman to score a century in the least number of balls in IPL.

Not only this, Vaibhav Suryavanshi became the youngest batsman to score a century in the T20 format. Nitish Kumar congratulated Suryavanshi for his excellent performance and also announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh from the state government on Tuesday.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a young cricketer from Bihar, will also be given a prize money of Rs 10 lakh by the state government. I wish that Vaibhav creates new records for the Indian team in the future and brings glory to the country."
