Team India: BCCI has showered money on the Indian team that won the Champions Trophy title played under the host of Pakistan.

Team India: Money has rained on the Indian team that won the Champions Trophy hosted by Pakistan, where the BCCI has given the team a huge amount of Rs 58 crore as a reward. This entire amount will be distributed among all the players. The team defeated strong New Zealand by four wickets in the final match of the Champions Trophy, where captain Rohit Sharma played a match-winning innings of 76 runs.
A statement has been issued by the BCCI regarding this. The statement said, 'Under the able leadership of captain Rohit Sharma, India dominated the tournament and did not lose a single match. The team started its campaign with a solid six-wicket win over Bangladesh and then a brilliant six-wicket win against Pakistan. They continued their momentum with a 44-run win over New Zealand before defeating Australia by four wickets in the semi-finals.'

Announcing the cash prize for Team India, BCCI President Roger Binny said, "Winning consecutive ICC titles is special and this prize money recognises Team India's dedication at the global level. The cash prize is a recognition of everyone's hard work behind the scenes. This was also our second ICC trophy after the ICC Under-19 Women's World Cup win in 2025 and it highlights the strong cricket infrastructure we have in our country."

Team India got Rs 20 crore for winning the title
Let us tell you that for winning the Champions Trophy title, the Men in Blue received an official prize money of about Rs 20 crore, while runners-up New Zealand received $ 1.12 million (about Rs 9.72 crore). This is India's third title win in the history of the Champions Trophy and it has captured an ICC title for the second time in less than a year.
