Airtel Priority Postpaid Plans: Airtel, the country's second-largest telecom company, has launched a new service called Priority Postpaid. With this, Airtel has become the first company in India to bring 5G network slicing technology to mobile users. The new service is targeted at users who need stable internet access throughout the day. It will provide faster, stable, and consistent network performance. This service is available with all Airtel postpaid plans, and prepaid users can also migrate to it. Let's explore how this service will work and how much it will bill.
How does 5G network slicing technology work?
This is a feature used in 5G technology that splits a single network into multiple virtual networks. Network slices can be created for user groups or specific purposes. Network slicing allows the network to operate efficiently. Using Airtel's example, the company can assign a network slice to a premium user, ensuring continued connectivity despite increased network load. 5G network slicing technology already exists in countries like the US, UK, and Malaysia, and Airtel has now launched it in India. To use it, users must have a 5G smartphone and the latest update installed.
