But now he will soon be seen as a professional footballer. In fact, Tiger has been signed to Mumbai Football Club (Mumbai FC).
The team will be playing its first Durand Cup campaign this season. Club director Zoheb Khan confirmed Tiger's signing on Monday (July 27).
Rumors have been circulating for a long time that Tiger would play in the Durand Cup, Asia's oldest football tournament. Now, these rumors have been confirmed.
Speaking to Sportstar, Zoheb Khan said, "His name has been registered in the squad and we are trying our best to manage everything. For someone like Tiger, we will need a lot of security in tier-2 and tier-3 cities. People may gather around and this could create chaos."
When will Tiger Shroff debut?
He further said, "Since social media is so cruel, the matter could get worse. Keeping this in mind, we have got a date from him. If everything goes well, he will definitely travel for one of the matches. He is currently training with the team."
It hasn't been clarified which match Tiger will travel with the team for or when he will make his debut. However, it's expected that his debut could be in the Durand Cup. It will be interesting to see when he plays his first match as a professional footballer.
