Citing reports, the human rights organization said that Pakistani security forces have allegedly detained and forcibly disappeared 25 local residents. This incident occurred amid a prolonged curfew in Jehri, which has reportedly been in place for several months.

The organization appealed for an independent investigation into human rights violations.

Meanwhile, condemning the enforced disappearance of 25 people and the killing of a woman in the Pakistani military operation, BVJ said, "The targeting of civilians, enforced disappearances, and the disruption of public access to information and communication raise serious human rights concerns. This should be investigated immediately and independently." BVJ appealed to the United Nations and international human rights organizations to investigate alleged human rights violations in Jehri.
