Yogi Adityanath Meeting With PM Modi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's meeting with   Prime Minister Narendra Modi has concluded. The meeting lasted for about half an hour. The upcoming cabinet expansion in Uttar Pradesh was discussed during this meeting. It was stated that special attention will be paid to regional and social balance in the cabinet expansion, so that all sections and areas can be represented. Discussions also took place regarding the Special Election Commission (SIR). It emerged that during the SIR, several names were dropped from the list, representing areas traditionally considered strong for the BJP. Concerns were expressed about this.

According to sources, despite repeated warnings from the central leadership, many grassroots leaders have not shown the necessary seriousness regarding SIR. This is why this issue was specifically discussed in the meeting. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also meet with JP Nadda at 3:30 pm today. This meeting comes at a time when discussions about cabinet expansion in Uttar Pradesh have intensified.

Preparations for UP cabinet reshuffle!

Yogi Adityanath 's current cabinet previously had 54 ministers, of which six positions were vacant. Following the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, two more ministers, Jitendra Prasad and Anoop Pradhan, were appointed central ministers, leaving several positions vacant again. It is believed that former state president Bhupendra Chaudhary may be included in the new cabinet. Additionally, some ministers may be transferred to the organization, and some organizational figures may be included in the government.

The stature of some ministers may increase.

Some state ministers may see their status increased and be given independent charge. New faces may also be accommodated in boards and corporations. It is believed that Western Uttar Pradesh's representation may increase, as the Chief Minister and State President are from the east. The recent meeting of Brahmin MLAs may also have an impact on the cabinet. In view of the 2027 assembly elections, several faces from Western Uttar Pradesh may be included in the cabinet. The party's primary objective is to build a strong team before the 2027 elections.
