The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday announced a prize money of Rs 58 crore to the Champions Trophy 2025 winning Indian team. BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia told how Rs 58 crore will be distributed among the players, coaching staff, support staff and selection committee members. Everyone will be given a hefty amount as a reward.

The BCCI has opened its treasury for the players, coaching and support staff of the winning Indian team on winning the Champions Trophy 2025. On Thursday, BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia announced a cash prize of Rs 58 crore to the winning team. Out of this, each player in the squad will be given Rs 3 crore each.

On Thursday, while talking to ANI, the BCCI Secretary said that out of the cash prize of Rs 58 crore, Rs 3 crore each will be given to every player in the squad. At the same time, the head coach of the team Gautam Gambhir will be given three crores as a reward, while the assistant coach, batting coach and bowling coach included in the coaching staff will be given 50 lakhs each.

Support staff will also get money

Saikia further said that the support staff will also be given Rs 50 lakh each and BCCI officials (members of the selection committee) will also be given Rs 25 lakh each as a reward. In this way, the 58 crores given by the BCCI will be distributed.
