Next Kumbh Mela - Ardh Kumbh will be held in Haridwar in 2027

After the conclusion of the Maha Kumbh Mela of Prayagraj, now the next Kumbh Mela will be organized in Haridwar, and this fair will be held in 2027. It will be known as 'Ardh Kumbh 2027'. The Uttarakhand government has started its preparations for this fair to be held on the banks of the Ganges in Haridwar. After the order of the government, the government officials of Haridwar have also held meetings regarding the preparation of this fair.

Traffic plan for Kumbh Mela

The Uttarakhand government held a meeting with officials of various departments regarding the preparation of Ardh Kumbh 2027. In this meeting, Garhwal IG Rajiv Swaroop said that preparations for Ardh Kumbh Mela 2027 have started. In the meeting, it was discussed what would be the traffic plan for the Kumbh Mela to be held in 2027, what would be the parking arrangement, and how would the crowd be controlled. During this, the needs of infrastructure were also considered. The IG said that all the departments will work together in preparation for this fair and the future outline has been prepared.

CM's instructions - Kumbh Mela will be grand, divine and safe

Regarding the organization of Ardh Kumbh 2027, Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey said that the Chief Minister has given clear instructions that the fair to be held in 2027 will be organized in the name of 'Kumbh', and this fair will be grand, divine and safe. The Chief Minister has instructed all the departments to ensure that the visiting devotees do not face any kind of trouble. All facilities should be easily available to them. In this regard, the government has discussed many important suggestions in the meeting.

Special arrangements for Ardh Kumbh 2027

The administration's plan includes many important arrangements like traffic management, parking, health services, security, cleanliness, and accommodation for devotees. Lakhs of people attend this fair, and in such a situation the administration has to be very cautious about crowd management and security arrangements. The government has sought proposals from officials for this and all the preparations will be finalized in the next few years.

During this, it was also said that soon a high-level meeting will be held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister, in which the preparations for Ardh Kumbh Mela 2027 will be finalized.
