Regarding the matter, famous Ayurvedic doctor Salim Zaidi has shared a video on his Instagram handle. In this video, the doctor says, 'If your blood pressure suddenly drops to 90/60 mmHg or less, then first of all do not panic. You can handle the situation by adopting some simple home remedies.' Doctor Zaidi has told 3 very easy ways, which can show effect in controlling low blood pressure immediately.

Do this work immediately if your BP is low

Number 1- Salt-sugar water

In case of low BP, Dr. Zaidi first recommends making a salt-sugar solution and drinking it. For this, add ½ teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of sugar in a glass of water and stir it well. The doctor says that drinking this water restores the fluid balance in the body, which immediately increases the BP.

Number 2- Raise your legs

If you feel dizzy or weak due to low BP, lie down straight and raise your legs above the heart rate. According to the doctor, this position helps in transporting blood to the brain and heart faster, which stabilizes blood pressure.

Number 3- Drink caffeinated drinks

When BP is low, Dr. Zaidi recommends drinking a cup of black coffee or black tea. Black coffee and tea contain caffeine, which temporarily increases blood pressure by increasing the heart rate. This also makes you feel good.

keep these things in mind

  • Doctors say that these measures are only for immediate relief. You can adopt them when your BP is low, as soon as you feel relief, then get yourself checked by health experts once.
  • Along with this, consume salt and caffeine in limited quantities, especially if you have heart related problems.
