IPL 2025:  The 34th match of the 18th edition of IPL was played on Friday, in which Punjab Kings defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 5 wickets. This match was affected by rain and was of 14-14 overs. In this match, Punjab wicketkeeper Josh Inglis took a wonderful catch of Phil Salt, the video of which went viral.

After winning the toss, Shreyas Iyer decided to bowl first. RCB suffered the first blow in the form of Phil Salt (4) in the very first over, he was caught out on the ball of Arshdeep Singh. Wicketkeeper Josh Inglis contributed as much to this wicket as bowler Arshdeep, who took this amazing catch by covering a distance of 26 meters in 5 and a half seconds.

Tim David saved RCB's honor

Batting first, Royal Challengers Bangalore lost 7 wickets for 42 runs, then it seemed that the team would hardly reach 60. However, Tim David saved RCB's honor, he scored an unbeaten 50 runs in 26 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 5 fours. Of course RCB lost but Tim David was chosen as the best player of the match. Royal Challengers Bangalore batted first and scored 95 runs in 14 overs.

 

While chasing the target, Punjab Kings also lost 4 wickets for 53 runs, the match looked to be a close one till the final overs but Nehal Vadhera ensured Punjab's victory by playing a brilliant innings. Nehal scored an unbeaten 33 runs in 19 balls with 3 sixes and as many fours. Punjab Kings registered another brilliant victory by achieving the target with 11 balls to spare.
