VIDEO: Made him remove gold jewellery and wrap it in white cloth, handed over a bundle of grass and fled with the real jewellery

We often hear that people are tricked into taking off their jewellery. Something similar has happened to a woman from Punjab. Some people fooled her so much that she lost jewellery worth lakhs.

A shocking incident has come to light from Moga, Punjab. A woman was allegedly hypnotized in broad daylight and swindled gold worth lakhs of rupees (Punjab Gold Swindle). This incident took place on Sunday afternoon in a shop on Arya School Road. At around 2:30 pm, a woman was sitting alone in a cosmetic shop. Then the robbers reached there and allegedly hypnotized her and swindled three gold rings worth lakhs of rupees from her in a few minutes and fled from the spot. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed in the shop.

A woman sitting in a shop was frightened and duped of gold

The victim's son Ajay Kumar said that he had left his mother Neelam at the shop and had gone home to eat. Meanwhile, three people including a woman came to his shop on a motorcycle. As soon as they came inside, they inquired about Radhaswami Dera in Moga. Then, during the conversation, they started scaring Ajay's mother. They told the victim that bad times are about to come for their family. 

Gold rings were taken off by hypnotism

The robbers allegedly hypnotized the woman and asked her to tie the three gold rings on her hand in a white cloth. As soon as the woman did so, the fraudsters swapped the cloth and tied green grass in place of the real rings and gave it to the woman. They themselves fled from there with the real jewellery. When the woman regained consciousness and opened the cloth, she was shocked to see grass instead of gold inside.

Gold fraud incident captured on CCTV

The victim's family immediately informed the police about the incident and lodged a complaint at the police station. The victim's side says that they have suffered a loss of lakhs of rupees in this incident. At present, the police is searching for the accused on the basis of CCTV footage.
