According to Hindu date, Maha Kumbh starts every 12 years with the bathing festival of Paush Purnima and ends on Mahashivratri. This year Maha Kumbh will start on 13 January 2025, which will conclude on 26 February 2025, Mahashivratri. Maha Kumbh lasts for 45 days.

Keep these things in mind to participate in Mahakumbh
Devotees from all over the country reach Mahakumbh to take a dip of faith. Even people of Hindu religion living abroad come to India to participate in Mahakumbh. In such a situation, there is a lot of crowd in Kumbh Mela and booking of hotels, dharamshalas and tent facilities is done in advance. So if you want to be a part of Mahakumbh, then book a hotel in advance.
Book train or flight tickets in advance so that the reservation is confirmed. However, according to the new rules of Indian Railways, now you can book tickets 60 days in advance instead of 120 days. So book tickets in advance.
Before participating in Maha Kumbh, collect all the necessary information including going to Prayagraj and staying there so that you do not face any inconvenience after reaching there.
