Every day in India, lakhs of people travel from one place to another by train. This huge railway network of India works to make your journey pleasant. Now for your convenience, Vande Bharat Express has also been included which is the fastest train in India. Vande Bharat Express are made-in-India semi-high speed trains that will replace other long-distance fast trains in India, including the Shatabdi and Rajdhani Express, in the coming years. Vande Bharat Express is the fastest train in India and has been completely designed in India. From its design to top speed and even features, many factors are the reason for its success. Today in this episode, we are going to tell you about the special features of Vande Bharat Express so that you can feel its thrill even before traveling. So let's know about them...
Modern design
The Vande Bharat Express has been given a modern design, which is more modern and attractive compared to the boxy, muscular trains of the Indian Railways. The dual color scheme of white and blue is attractive and the raised nose of the engine is similar to that of high-speed trains in other countries. This train has proven successful in reaching the speed of 0-100 kmph in just 52 seconds. Whereas in other trains of the world, it takes up to 60 seconds.
India's fastest train
Another important factor contributing to the success of Vande Bharat Express is that it is the fastest train in India, with a maximum speed of 180 mph. However, due to safety constraints, the operating speed of the train is limited to 130 mph. This higher speed has resulted in reduced travel time between cities served by Vande Bharat Express.
Engineless train
Vande Bharat Express is India's first engine-less train. Earlier, the engine coach was installed separately in Indian trains, but now in this train, the engine has been combined as is usually seen in metro or bullet trains. Because of this, it can achieve higher speed than a train like Shatabdi. Its top speed is limited to 130 km/h.
Automatic doors and AC coaches
The train consists of 16 fully air-conditioned chair car coaches with two seating options: economy and executive class. The amazing feature is that the executive class has a revolving chair that can turn up to 180 degrees. One of the most important features provided by Vande Bharat Express is that its doors open automatically like the Metro.
Wi-Fi facility
Wi-Fi facility is also available on the train, with this people can entertain themselves with the help of Wi-Fi while on the train. Along with this, passengers can also avail Wi-Fi facilities on their mobile or tablet. This is the first train in India to provide such facilities to passengers. Generally, this kind of facility is not available on any train.
Bio-vacuum toilet
Bio-vacuum toilets have been created to solve the problem of cleanliness in trains. It will be used for both Indian and Western-style washrooms. Exactly like those used in airplanes. Additionally, touch-free bathroom fittings are also provided for users to experience hygiene without any worries.
Entertainment arrangements
Vande Bharat Express 2.0 offers passengers the popular board game Snakes and Ladders. You might have played a lot of Snakes and ladders games at home, but the board game available while traveling in Vande Bharat Express is something different. In this, you will see the picture of the Vande Bharat Express train and not a ladder with a snake. In this, the names of the stoppages of the train are written along with the numbers at various places. Which looks quite interesting. It is being offered for the first time in Vande Bharat Express trains running on Mumbai-Solapur and Mumbai-Sainagri Shirdi routes.
Food facility in train
Food in semi-high speed trains is included in the ticket price. If you are traveling from New Delhi to Banaras, you will be served breakfast and lunch on the train itself and if you are traveling from Varanasi to New Delhi, you will be served tea, breakfast, and dinner on the train. Something similar will happen in Vande Bharat Express running on other routes.
Smart security
CCTV cameras have been installed in all 16 coaches of the train for the complete security of the passengers. The automatic doors of the train will open only when the train comes to a complete stop. The train starts moving only when the doors are completely closed.
