The world's highest artificial lake is located in Auli. This lake with a capacity of 25 thousand kilometers was built in the year 2010. When there is no snowfall in Auli, artificial snow is made from the water of this lake. Machines manufactured in France have been installed here to make snow.

Asia's second longest ropeway
The 4.15 km long ropeway connecting Joshimath to Auli is the second longest ropeway in Asia. This ropeway takes people to Auli at a height of more than ten thousand feet above sea level through ten towers. This 22 km long ropeway is the second longest ropeway in Asia. Its speed is considered to be higher than the rest of the ropeways in the country. 25 tourists can sit in the cabin at a time.

Trishul Mountain

Situated 23490 feet above sea level, Trishul Mountain is a major attraction of Auli. The name of this mountain is derived from the trident of Lord Shiva. A mysterious reservoir, Roopkund Lake is located below this mountain.

Soldhar Tapovan

After walking 10 km from Helang Chatti comes the valley of Kalpeshwar. Vanshinarayan temple is only 2 km away from Kalpeshwar. You will find immense peace in the Vanshinarayan temple.

Chatra Kund
The Chhatra Kund lake built in the middle of the forest is at a distance of one kilometer from Gursaun. This place is situated in the middle of a dense forest. The scenic lake here is very much liked by the tourists. Beautiful views of nature are worth seeing from here.

Sanjivani Peak
Auli is also considered a storehouse of medicinal plants. This is why it has also got the name of Sanjivani Peak. It is said that during the Ramayana period, when Hanumanji came to the Himalayas to get Sanjivani booti, ​​he stopped at the mound of Auli and saw the Dronagiri mountain from here and he saw the divine light of Sanjivani booti. Vishnuprayag
Vishnuprayag is located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand and is situated at an altitude of 1,372 meters above sea level. On this majestic shore, you can also see a famous Vishnu temple which was built in 1889 by the Maharani of Indore. Here two tributaries of Alaknanda and Dahliganga merge.
